Our Austin/Dallas office is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team. We use the latest design technologies and analytic methods to deliver projects. Sustainability, carbon reduction, and resilience are key features of our projects. We are looking for an engineer who will take the lead in design and construction for a wide range of projects including healthcare, laboratories, data centers, commercial, higher education and aviation.

The

opportunity
  • Lead the design of electrical systems on medium to large-scale complex projects (healthcare, laboratories, data centers, commercial, higher education and aviation)
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams maximizing your experience at the local, regional, and global levels.
  • Maintain strong client relations as it pertains to project delivery and repeat business.
  • Prepare drawings, specifications, technical reports, and presentation materials and incorporate sustainable design methods in buildings.
  • Present technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Participate in local Professional Associations.
  • Responsible for quality standards, commercial metrics, and client relations for projects.
The Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings or infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to lead the electrical discipline as lead electrical designer for projects with good organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working.
  • Experience with 3D BIM software – preferably Revit MEP
  • Knowledge of lighting design software's such as AGi
    32, Dialux etc.
Preferred Skills
  • Professional Engineering License in Texas.
  • Experience with power system modeling using SKMor similar software.
