Phasor Grid specializes in providing Engineering Services and Staffing Solutions, with a primary focus on Protection and Control designs, relay settings, and Substation Design. Our expertise extends to conducting Interconnection Studies to support energy infrastructure and utilities. We are dedicated to delivering tailored and high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the energy sector.

Responsibilities
  • Develop complete substation and relay design packages under the supervision of the Lead Engineer.
  • Incorporate engineer markups, vendor documentation, and project requirements into CAD drawings.
  • Prepare one-line, three-line, schematic, connection, and wiring diagrams.
  • Produce panel elevations, control building layouts, and physical equipment layouts.
  • Prepare cable schedules, conduit routing, grounding/trench plans, and BOMs.
  • Assist with redlines, as-built drawings, and design reviews.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure drawings meet quality, standards, and deadlines.
  • Maintain organized documentation and adhere to project workflows.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and/or 3D) for professional engineering drawings.
  • Experience preparing substation/relay design packages, including diagrams, layouts, and schedules.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and utility standards (IEEE, NESC).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain drawing accuracy and version control.
Experience & Education
  • 4+ years of drafting experience in electrical, substation, or relay/protection projects.
  • Associate degree or certificate in Electrical Design, Drafting, or related field preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with lead engineers or senior designers.
  • Strong communication skills for working with engineers, project managers, and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple drawing tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn from senior engineers.
  • Familiarity with Micro Station is a plus.
