We are currently partnering with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Professional Engineer (P.E.) to support the delivery of complex, high-value MEP projects across healthcare, life sciences, research, and advanced manufacturing environments.
This is a senior technical and project leadership role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of electrical design delivery while working closely with major clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
The OpportunityThe successful candidate will act as the primary technical authority for electrical systems, leading project delivery from concept through construction and commissioning. This role combines hands-on engineering, project management, and client-facing leadership.

Key Responsibilities Electrical Engineering & Design- Lead the design and delivery of complex electrical building systems
- Produce detailed calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Develop coordinated construction documentation in line with regulatory and industry standards
- Review designs for technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance
- Support commissioning, testing, and construction administration
- Utilise AutoCAD, Revit, and specialist engineering tools
- Manage scope, programme, budget, and resources on assigned projects
- Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialist disciplines
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
- Act as the primary technical interface with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Maintain strong quality control and governance standards
- Support proposals, bids, and project pursuits
- Provide technical input into fee proposals and scopes of work
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings
- Promote collaboration across engineering disciplines
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
- Minimum 6+ years’ professional experience (5+ with Master’s degree)
- Active Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) licence (essential)
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Familiarity with commissioning and system handover
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- High attention to detail and commercial awareness
