Overview

Our client is seeking an Environmental Senior Manager to lead employee engagement initiatives, support client development, and oversee delivery of high‑quality environmental services. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys relationship‑building, team leadership, and driving project success from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities Relationship Building & Client Engagement
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients, vendors, and partners through networking, outreach, exceptional project execution, and consistent communication.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as a brand ambassador.
  • Lead and motivate the local team; assign workloads, provide coaching and feedback, and support professional development.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on accountability and high performance.
  • Track team productivity and ensure high‑quality service delivery.
Project & Business Performance
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
  • Monitor project profitability, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with business development and program management teams to identify and pursue new opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
Technical Environmental Expertise
  • Lead and support complex environmental projects, including:
  • Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
  • Soil, vapor, and groundwater site investigations
  • Remedial action planning and oversight
  • Proposal development, cost estimating, and technical reporting
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
  • Licensed Professional Geoscientist (P.G.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
  • 10+ years of environmental industry experience related to the responsibilities above.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable in client-facing situations and initiating conversations with new contacts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of environmental and regulatory programs within industrial, energy, and commercial sectors.
  • Experience managing teams and coordinating client work is preferred.
  • Interest in supporting business development and expanding client relationships.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
