The Graduate Electrical Engineer will serve as a designer on construction documents for electrical systems in a variety of markets including multifamily, commercial, high‑rise, hospitality, EV Fleet and more. The Graduate Electrical Engineer reports to the electrical team leader.

• Work with a team of engineers and designers to create quality engineering construction documents in Revit using architectural plans and base files.
• Under limited supervision design electrical systems including equipment sizing, energy lighting calculations and circuit diagrams for a variety of project types.
• Perform calculations such as electrical load analysis, lighting energy use, voltage drop, fault analysis, etc.
• Provide reviews of submittals and preliminary reviews of requests for information.
• Independently conduct preliminary site investigations and construction progress site visits.
• Maintain working relationships with manufacturers and technical representatives for electrical equipment in support of equipment specifications and design support.
• Participate in internal production meetings with Engineers and Project Managers as well as external design meetings with clients or city officials as necessary.
• Participate in development of automation and visualization strategies.
• Inform Project Engineers, Team Leaders, and Project Managers of progress on assigned projects.
• Attend industry events and become involved in the community, creating relationships and content.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) license obtained within first year in role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in the field of new building mechanical engineering construction.
• Experience in Revit.
• Prior experience or knowledge of coding and/or machine learning technologies.
