• Our client is a locally owned and highly respected engineering company in Austin that is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer PE / PM with HVAC and/or plumbing design experience to their growing team.
• This is a full‑time, direct hire position at an outstanding company in a great location with generous compensation, benefits, bonus/401K, and PTO programs.

• Calculate, design, and generate AutoCAD and/or Revit files and construction documents to support MEP engineering needs for a variety of building types (commercial office, K-12 schools, municipal buildings, healthcareamily, etc.), especially in the area of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
• Project‑management responsibilities on both small and large projects, establishing schedules, assigning resources, monitoring performance, and keeping project on time and on budget.
• Maintain and organize all mechanical engineering related schedules, along with any associated general project documents.
• Provide review of mechanical design submittals and go into the field as needed to address any issues, conflicts, questions that may arise.
• Generate and present project status updates as needed to a variety of internal and external audiences.
• Work toward developing new business with existing and new clients through building relationships.
