Sr. Telecommunications BIM Lead (Electronics)

Base Pay Range: $80,600 /yr – $120,000 /yr

What You’ll Do- Provide design, modeling, and documentation services for telecom systems on advanced facility projects.
- Showcase Revit expertise while adhering to Jacobs and client BIM standards.
- Use Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to create and manage fully coordinated 3D BIM models across all design disciplines (C, S, A, M, E, P, T, I, L).
- Produce 2D construction drawings and ensure clash‑free, constructible deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with designers, discipline leads, architects, and engineers to turn design intent into reality.
- Proven experience in telecommunications BIM design for complex facilities.
- Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of BIM design experience.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry.
- Understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions.
- Understanding of design and construction specifications and their function.
- Understanding of wiring/cabling connections in relation to a circuit or a link between devices and equipment.
- Experience following client design and modeling standards.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided markups and/or verbal direction requests.
- Willingness to learn.
- At least 6 years of Revit and/or AutoCAD design experience.
- Understanding of clean room and data center environments.
- Knowledge and design experience with paging, intercom, and audio‑visual systems.
- Knowledge and design experience with life safety and security systems, fire alarm, access control, closed‑circuit television (CCTV).
- Knowledge of control systems and network components and topology.
