Technical Support, Product Engineer
This role sits at the intersection between customers, technology, and product evolution for the AMER region. You will be the first technical point of contact for customers, owning the Customer Success journey and ensuring fast, high-quality responses across applications, software, materials, and processes.
Beyond day-to-day support, the role plays a strategic part in translating customer needs into actionable insights for internal teams, working closely with R&D, Product Management, and Services to drive continuous improvement and innovation. By combining technical expertise with a strong customer-oriented mindset, you will directly contribute to customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
This position is key to scaling Caracol’s solutions in the AMER region, enabling customers to fully leverage our technologies while influencing product and application development through structured feedback and coordination.
Few examples of responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer requests related to non-hardware topics (design, software, standard operating procedures, and materials), ensuring a timely first response and initial technical assessment, and coordinating second-level support with internal stakeholders across R&D, Product Management, Services, and Engineering when needed.
- Deliver technical training to customers and internal teams on platform installations, Application Engineering packs, and the effective use of software, materials, and application-specific workflows.
- Support pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise during customer discussions, including application feasibility, materials selection, and software capabilities, in close collaboration with Sales and Regional teams.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Services, and R&D to translate customer needs into structured feedback, contribute to the definition and prioritization of development efforts across applications, materials, and HW/SW features, and provide field data to drive continuous product improvement.
Ideal Background:
- Technical background (engineering), with experience in an industrial environment; experience in composites or tooling is a plus.
- 4–5 years of professional experience.
- Strongly required: direct customer-facing experience.
- Experience in project management.
Other requirements:
- Willingness to travel to client sites in US.
