Technician IV

Akkodis is seeking a Technician IV for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. Candidate must have strong capability in supporting RF lab operations by building, calibrating, and maintaining complex RF test setups for engineering use.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $55/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technician IV job responsibilities include:

• Building and bringing up RF test setups using attenuators, splitters, SMA cables, and other RF equipment.
• Calibrating RF configurations with Vector Network Analyzers (VNA) and verifying proper signal routing before engineering use.
• Supporting engineers by modifying test setups and troubleshooting technical issues during development.
• Managing lab equipment, tools, and inventory to ensure organization, availability, and proper handling of sensitive RF hardware.
• Tracking and labeling project boards across multiple programs while maintaining accurate records in lab management tools.
• Ensuring compliance by maintaining calibration schedules, coordinating servicing, and upholding lab safety and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Candidate must have extensive hands‑on experience in RF lab operations and technical support environments.
• Candidate must have strong capability in RF setup, VNA calibration, and troubleshooting within engineering labs.
• Candidate must have proven skill in organizing equipment, maintaining inventories, and ensuring compliance with lab safety and calibration standards.

Pay Details:

$53.00 to $55.00 per hour
