An Autonomy Test Specialist to support Motion Planning engineers by accelerating development, testing, and validation workflows.
In this role, you’ll own simulation scenario creation, coordinate vehicle testing, and serve as the first line of triage for test results. You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to simulation infrastructure, on‑vehicle testing, and the real‑world challenges of deploying autonomous vehicles.
The ideal candidate is organized, technically curious, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced autonomy environment.
Requirements- Create and configure simulation scenarios for pick‑up/drop‑off (PUDO) and depot site use cases, translating operational requirements into testable configurations.
- Develop and maintain vehicle test plans, supporting both on‑site and off‑site testing for new site enablement features.
- Manage test scheduling and coordination, partnering with vehicle operations to maximize testing efficiency.
- Perform first‑pass triage of simulation and vehicle test results, identifying issues and categorizing findings for engineering review.
- Document test results, generate clear reports, and identify opportunities to streamline testing workflows and improve visibility for autonomy engineers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) Ability and willingness to travel for test support Familiarity with scripting languages (Python preferred) for automation and data analysis Strong organizational skills with experience managing schedules or coordinating technical workflows Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with engineers
Responsibilities:
