* Job Duties:

*** Utilizing engineering background, provide pre-sales and/or post-sales technical customer support including implementation, training, and maintenance support for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and semiconductor intellectual property (IP).
* Utilize graduate-level research and analysis skills to provide technical support to customers using Cadence simulation tools (Xcelium), debug solutions (Verisum Debug), and verification IPs (VIPs).
* Collaborate with customers for product integration, configuration, and troubleshooting, and help optimize their use of VIPs for their specific design and verification needs.
* Participate in product demonstrations and training sessions, and collaborate with internal development teams to address customer feedback and enhance product features.
* Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
* Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
* Write technical documentation for products.
* Attend company training seminars to become familiar with product lines.
* Train team members in the customer applications of technologies.
* Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
* Some telecommuting permitted.
* Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

* Qualifications:

*** Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
* UVM testbench development for the CROP block of image sensors, UVM phases, Transaction-Level Modeling (TLM), functional coverage, UVM messaging and reporting, UVM factory and configuration mechanism, and UVM register model
* Verification plan (vPlan) mapping, simulation and debugging with Xcelium, Regression execution and analysis, Tcl scripting for verification tasks, and Perl scripting for automation
* System Verilog fundamentals, Assertions, Object Oriented Programming, Interfaces, Coverage, and Verification methodology basics
* ASIC design fundamentals, hardware modelling, Synthesis tools, timing analysis, power and area optimization, design constraints, and ASIC fabrication process
* Basics of computer systems, ISA, CPU design, pipelining, memory systems, I/O systems, multi core processors, and performance metrics
* Power management techniques, low power design methodologies, clock and power domain designs
* Formal verification concepts, properties, tool expertise, property development, and equivalence checking
* Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.##
