Role: Electrical Silicon Failure Analysis Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day activities for device-level and system-level failure analysis.
- Conduct electrical fault isolation using multiple FA tools.
- Produce technical reports of failure analysis findings.
- Evaluate and maintain new equipment and techniques related to failure analysis.
Skills & Qualifications
- BSEE with 5+ years of experience (or equivalent engineering/physics degree) and proven track record in IC and module-level failure analysis.
- Hands‑on proficiency with physical and electrical failure analysis at silicon level.
- In‑depth knowledge of board‑level failure analysis.
- Experience with EFA tools such as LIT, TDR, FIB, SEM, RIE, CMP, MIP, decapsulation, sample preparation, emission microscopy, laser‑scan microscopy, micro‑probing and nano‑probing.
- Experience using multiple failure‑analysis tools and techniques.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving ability.
