Job Summary
Dennis Group Process Piping Designers work heavily with process engineers and other engineering disciplines in designing multiple aspects of our food and beverage process facility projects. Responsibilities involve the layout of process and utility equipment in 2D equipment arrangements, creating Process Mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, 3D modeling of process and utility equipment, full 3D design of process and utility piping systems per P&IDs and Process Engineer direction, creating piping drawings from the 3D models for bidding and construction, equipment access and support platform design, pipe support systems, and extensive coordination of process piping and mechanical designs with the entire facility design team.
