Job Title: Senior SMT/Microelectronics Engineering Manager

• Manage team of engineers and/or technicians with the focus on new product introduction.
• Closely collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations and other Engineering groups to ensure proper prioritization of projects, and execution of NRE activities.
• Hands-on approach with a focus on timely completion and successful transition to production for new hardware designs.
• Product improvement by identifying, analyzing, and addressing any gaps to improve production capability and quality.

• Excellent leadership skills along with experience working in a management role in SMT or microelectronics assembly line.
• Knowledge of some or all the following process steps:
  Dicing, Pick and Place, Die Attach, Soldering, Reflow, Lapping, Wire Bonding.
• Fast learning capability and self‑motivated attitude to learn the remaining steps with limited supervision •
• Software Requirements – Experience with Solid Works, AutoCAD or other equivalent software is desirable.
• Familiarity with DFMEA, PFMEA, DOE, and SPC.
• Experience standing up low‑volume, high‑mix production processes and tracking systems.
• BS in Electrical, Mechanical engineering or equivalent field, Advanced degree is desirable.
• 10+ years’ SMT or microelectronics assembly or semiconductor related work experience with 2+ years of engineering management experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with occasional weekend work.
