Hardware Technician

An RF Hardware Technician will participate in all aspects of new product testing and V&V (Validation and Verification). Responsibilities include component rework and soldering, functional validation,reviewing and executing test plans, and hardware debug & troubleshooting. Successful Hardware Technicians on ourteam can work independently, multi-task effectively across projects, communicate well with engineers, and are comfortable working in a lab environment.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Test plan review and execution
• Competency with basic electronic measurement equipment, such as power sources, DMMs, and Oscilloscopes
• Data generation and test report completion

For this Role, You Will Need:

• Associates degree in Electronics, or similar
• Ability to read basic analog & RF schematics, including understanding of analog circuit elements such as op amps, power supplies, BJT/FET devices, and filters
• Familiarity with schematic entry tools such as Mentor Graphics
• Equipment & test system setup for product validation (V&V)
• Component rework and soldering techniques
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Familiarity with RF Test Equipment (RF spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, vector network analyzers, power meters)

Test automation, with basic programming understanding (i.e. LabVIEW, Python)
