Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX, for a Mechanical Revit Detailer/MEP Fabrication Specialist. The primary responsibilities include creating detailed mechanical and plumbing drawings using cutting‑edge design software, reviewing designs for precision, and ensuring they meet project specifications. The role involves collaborating with engineers and contractors to optimize designs for fabrication and installation, while adhering to project timelines and high-quality standards.
The selected candidate will be engaged in inspecting and maintaining project designs to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools and software for drafting and detailing
- Strong background in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in mechanical systems
- Experience in conducting mechanical inspections and ensuring compliance with standards
- Knowledge of maintenance processes and mechanical system optimization
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment on‑site
- Proven experience with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) detailing and fabrication is highly desirable
