Senior Water​/Wastewater Engineer

Associate Director - Water Infrastructure - Texas

I’m representing a leading consultancy that’s looking to strengthen their Water/Wastewater Treatment team with a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer across Austin. This is a senior technical role for someone who can lead major treatment plant programmes, drive client relationships, and guide multi discipline teams across the full project lifecycle.

Job Specifications:

• Lead planning, design and construction support for:
• Water & wastewater treatment plants
• Collection systems, lift/pump stations, process upgrades
• Facility expansions, optimisation and retrofit projects
• Oversee multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver:
• Detailed design packages, technical reports, calculations & specifications
• Project budgets, schedules, scopes, risk management and QA/QC
• Construction documents and construction‑phase engineering support
• Additional key functions include:
• Supporting business development, client engagement and pursuit strategies
• Contributing to proposals, presentations and technical interviews
• Collaborating with senior technical advisors on process modelling & facility design
• Mentoring junior engineers and strengthening team capability
• Participating in strategic planning for regional water/wastewater programmes

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years’ experience in water/wastewater treatment plant design & delivery
• Strong Dö C--- enable front
• Bachelor’s in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to support client development, proposal pursuits and interview stages

Preferred:

• 7+ years’ industry experience
• Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline
