The Electrical Lead can be based anywhere in Texas and be responsible for the development, management, and growth of the electrical practice for existing and new clients. This position combines technical expertise, business development acumen, and team leadership to deliver innovative solutions to clients for their electrical infrastructure needs.
Responsibilities
- Leadership:
Define the strategic direction for the electrical practice, establish goals, and ensure alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives. - Project Delivery:
Oversee the successful execution of electrical engineering and design projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, adherence to timelines, and client satisfaction. - Technical Expertise:
Serve as the subject matter expert on electrical infrastructure systems, including design, analysis, planning, reliability, and innovation. - Business Development:
Work with BGE department leaders to identify business opportunities with existing clients, identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals, and participate in client presentations to secure new projects and expand the practice. - Team Management:
Build, recruit, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and consultants, fostering professional growth and a collaborative work environment. - Client Engagement:
Maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions that address complex electrical infrastructure challenges.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical systems, with significant consulting experience.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering complex projects.
- Strong business development skills and experience managing client relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Deep understanding of industry standards, codes, and best practices.
- Ability and willingness to be office-based (flexible work arrangements may be available).
