Mechanical Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems, assemblies, and components for physical products using CAD tools (e.g., Solid Works, Creo, or similar).
• Execute detailed design reviews with focus on manufacturability, cost, and performance — applying DFM/DFA best practices.
• Conduct mechanical analyses related to thermodynamics, kinematics, and structural integrity to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, firmware, and manufacturing engineering to support full product lifecycle from concept to production.
• Create engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, and specifications to support fabrication and assembly.
• Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and iteration of mechanical systems.

• 3–5 years of experience designing mechanical components and assemblies for hardware products.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of DFM/DFA, material selection, tolerance analysis, and GD&T.
• Experience with thermal analysis, structural simulation, and motion systems (gears, linkages, actuators, etc.).
• Comfortable supporting both prototype development and high-volume manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
