Position SummarySeeking an energetic Safety Professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and assist with identifying risks that support safety programs for one of the most advanced semiconductor facilities in the United States. RoleAnd Responsibilities
- Implement and manage safety compliance programs in adherence to federal, state and local regulations.
- Manage electrical safety and hazardous energy programs.
- Anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance at a semiconductor facility.
- Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; and advise and educate others.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements.
- Evaluate task performance to ensure compliance with site and regulatory requirements.
- Document and track results to support safety program elements.
- Conduct incident investigations, site inspections, identify root cause, determine corrective actions, and support implementation as related to safety compliance programs.
- Conduct employee training for education on site safety requirements.
- Review and audit pre-task plans, site risk analyses and standard operating procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or Studies, Engineering or Risk Management, with 8-10 years’ experience required.
- Master’s degree, professional EHS certification such as CSP preferred.
