You Are

UST is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer who will develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods, operational sequences, and processes for fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.

The Opportunity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to coordinate product improvements and new product introductions.
  • Launch, release, approve, and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to support Design Engineering and Operations for both new and existing products.
  • Estimate manufacturing costs, establish time standards, and recommend appropriate tooling and process requirements.
  • Apply DFx (Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Test, etc.) principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs while improving delivered product quality.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or related)
Compensation & Benefits

Texas

Compensation Range: $44,000-$66,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible for the Company’s 401(k) with employer matching. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available, along with basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits.

Voluntary short-term disability benefits, a Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options are available as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits vary in Puerto Rico. Part-time and full-time temporary employees have pro-rated sick leave and 401(k) options as described in the body of the posting. All US employees who work in states/localities with more generous sick leave laws will receive those benefits where applicable.
