Arcadis is pleased to announce an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer (PE) – Land/Site Development Projects at our Houston, Texas office.

We are seeking a highly qualified professional with a proven ability to manage and lead a team dedicated to expanding our civil commercial development portfolio within Texas. The successful candidate will hold a Professional Engineer license and possess extensive experience overseeing large-scale, complex civil development projects, including hospitals, airports, residential communities, retail centers, and educational campuses.

Role accountabilities:

• Develop and grow the civil engineering practice in the Houston, Texas Region, working with current and new clients through effective business development.
• Develop and manage a team that builds positive relationships and connections to facilitate new project opportunities while delivering outstanding projects to clients.
• Exhibit smart and effective project management and oversight to ensure projects meet or exceed client quality expectations and Arcadis’s commercial objectives.
• Engage and work directly with clients, design staff, and regulatory agencies to obtain permits and project approvals.

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Well‑experienced Civil Engineer PE with more than 12 years of experience delivering civil site development projects and managing complex budgets in the Houston area.
• Licensed (PE) Civil Engineer.
• Experience building strong client relationships and conducting business development to grow the practice.
• Experience creating a positive work environment that allows others to excel.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to health and safety.

Salary range: $136,086—$165,000 (actual salary varies).

Full‑time position. Mid‑Senior level. Professional Services industry.
