At Jacobs, we’re building the future by designing, engineering, and executing state‑of‑the‑art facilities that transform our world. As a key member of our Advanced Manufacturing team, you’ll grow your skills and work with clients to develop design concepts create models, and coordinate designs across disciplines. You’ll convey structural requirements through 2D paper deliverables and BIM 3D Revit models. You’ll also lead a small project with a team of designers, establishing project standards, training, and maintaining team morale.

• Provide leadership and support to the Built Environment team.
• Develop design concepts, create models from scratch, and coordinate designs considering existing conditions and other disciplines.
• Convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models.
• Lead a small project with a team of designers, establishing project standards, procedures, training, and building team morale.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit experience.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.
• Experience leading a team of Designers.
• Experience with traditional steel and concrete structures.
• Experience with healthcare /institutional /commercial buildings.
• Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
