Role Definition:

The Supplier Engineer is responsible for managing overall supplier manufacturing and operational issues across the supplier base, ensuring process controls are established and maintained throughout the entire manufacturing process.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:
  • Involve in Supplier Issue Resolution.
  • Implement Corrective Actions and collaborate with cross-functional teams during issue resolution.
  • Develop and propose supplier improvement plans.
  • Document key learnings into Best Known Methods (BKM) where applicable.
  • Assist in supplier technical audits and evaluate supplier performance and capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement opportunities at suppliers.
Education & Experience:

Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 4-5 years in Supplier Development or Supplier Quality roles.
Overall 10-15 years of professional experience.

Skills Required & Desired:
  • Thorough understanding of Electrical Engineering disciplines, with experience in electrical and electronics components, RF components, network analyzers, box builds, AC racks, circuit breakers, utilities, electrical connections, interconnects, interface connections, power cables, and PCBA.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and a good understanding of various manufacturing and assembly processes for electrical components.
  • Hands-on experience with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and CAPA.
  • Knowledge of electrical accessories on vacuum and related processes is an added advantage.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
