The Texas Institute for Electronics (TIE) is a University of Texas at Austin-supported semiconductor consortium of state and local government, preeminent defense electronics and semiconductor companies, national labs and nationally recognized academic institutions. This position's primary function is to maintain cleanroom gowns, cleanroom supplies, and to perform custodial tasks inside TIE's clean rooms.

• Ensure cleanroom garments are stocked for employees and visitors.

• Collect cleanroom garments for weekly laundering.

• Stock common cleanroom supplies, such as cleanroom wipes.

• Wipe-down cleanroom walls, floors and work surfaces.

• Collect satellite waste from the cleanroom.

• 1 Year of Prior Experience with ISO 4 (Class 10) or ISO 5 (Class 100) cleanroom custodial experience.

• Must have the ability to work independently.

• Must be dependable.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

$18/hour + depending on qualifications

• Job duties mat be performed in a clean room environment

• Lifting/carrying objects up to 35 pounds may be required.

• May require bending/stooping

• Requires use of PPE.

• May work around chemical fumes

• May work around biohazards

• May work around chemicals

• 40 Hour Work Week Schedule; 8 hours per day;
  Monday-Friday

• Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.
