Associate Vice President

Location:

Base pay range: $55,000.00 – $90,000.00

The company emphasizes collaboration, sustainability, and cutting‑edge engineering practices, delivering projects from high‑rise towers to modular and mass timber structures.
Responsibilities- Lead structural design for diverse building types using steel, concrete, timber, and cold‑formed steel systems.
- Manage projects through all phases: analysis, calculations, and construction documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors; ensure QA/QC compliance.
- Represent the firm in client meetings and site visits.
- Incorporate advanced design methodologies and emerging materials technologies.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in at least one U.S. state.
- Minimum 7 years of structural design experience in commercial or multi‑residential projects.
- Proficiency with structural analysis/design software for steel, concrete, and timber systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client‑facing skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally for site visits.
- Experience with performance‑based design, modular construction, or seismic retrofit.
- Familiarity with sustainability standards and innovative materials.
- Prior leadership in project coordination and mentoring.
