Design Verification Engineer; Req # KD

Duties

• Electronics engineer responsible for functional verification of audio CODECs and other mixed signal products. Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to: verification planning, testbench development, failure analysis and resolution, coverage analysis and population, digital/mixed-signal modeling, directed/constraint-random test generation, formal verification analysis with execution, proficient knowledge of scripting languages and flow development. Candidates must work closely with digital/analog designers, applications engineers, and manufacturing test to support both pre-silicon verification and post silicon validation efforts of integrated circuits employing knowledge of electronic theory and materials properties.

• Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in one of the foregoing fields plus seven years of experience or a PhD in one of the foregoing fields plus three years of experience. In all cases, experience must include three years of hands‑on experience with complex System Verilog constructs such as assertions and coverage;
  In addition, the position requires:
  Knowledge of System Verilog programming language and associated verification methodology;
  The ability to code complex code to hit verification requirements;
  Knowledge of analog and digital design fundamentals;
  The ability to understand and debug digital design blocks;
  The ability to understand analog schematics conceptually;
  Knowledge of both AMS and DMS verification;
  The ability able to model analog circuits functionally; and a practical understanding of challenges associated with analog mixed signal verification compared to digital only verification.
