Job Description

Responsibilities- Leading application pre‑enabling, product development, and/or product hardening to launch future products and provide customer support.
- Enable customers to be ready for the Post‑Quantum Cryptography (PQC) future by helping them secure their devices from future threats.
- Engage as a technical expert or trusted technical advisor to drive Altera value and differentiation in applications requiring system‑level security.
- Utilize deep domain and market segment expertise to research, develop, and prototype software that leverages and drives adoption of Altera product capabilities.
- Deliver collateral and training, including competitive/differentiated benchmarks, and identify key workloads for product requirements, landing zones, future product design, simulation, projection methods, and tools. Drive product improvements that minimize the need for explicit enabling and maximize scalable adoption.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded software engineering or system design.
- Experience with applications‑class embedded processors and embedded design.
- Cryptographic techniques, including authentication and encryption.
- Device‑level security.
- Side‑channel attack mitigation.
- Secure manufacturing protocols.
- FPGA devices, configuration methods, and FPGA design software.
- Debug and troubleshooting skills across processor and FPGA platforms.
- Software including boot software (ATF or U‑boot), BIOS, and drivers.
- Operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
- Hardware/board debugging.
