Structural Engineer – Building Design

Our client is a growing civil and structural engineering firm based in West Austin, expanding its building design team. They’re looking for a dedicated Structural Engineer (EIT or recently licensed PE) with experience in designing commercial, municipal, and educational buildings. • Design and analyze building structures (steel, concrete, masonry, wood) using Revit and structural analysis tools.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and construction documents for commercial, municipal, and educational projects.
• Conduct occasional site visits to review progress and verify compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality structural solutions.
• Support project managers and PEs in design coordination and project delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s a plus).
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred or in progress.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in building design (commercial, multifamily, retail, or municipal).
• Proficiency in Revit (required).
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• U.S. work authorization required; relocation assistance available for strong candidates but limited.
