Adjunct Teaching Position – Clinical Microbiology at St. Edward's University invites applications in the Department of Biological Sciences, beginning January 2026. St. Edward's is a nationally ranked, independent Catholic university and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI). Candidates should have an interest in and the ability or potential to teach undergraduate courses and support a diverse student body.
Responsibilities- Prepare and teach lecture and laboratory courses in microbiology for Nursing majors (BIOL 2318/2118 Clinical Microbiology). The position is for teaching one lecture (three credits) and two labs (three credits each).
- Supervision of undergraduate teaching assistants.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree or a minimum of 18 graduate hours in biology or a related field. A PhD in Microbiology or a related field is preferred.

January 2026 - No formal academic advising or university service responsibilities; opportunities to engage with the Department, the School of Natural Sciences, and the University.
