- Conduct 1:1 and small‑group coaching that converts student objectives into reliable follow‑through and quantifiable outcomes.
- Leverage analytics and student aspirations to identify obstacles and build personalized, ambitious motivation strategies.
- Facilitate high‑rigor life‑skills workshops grounded in authentic storytelling, structured reflection, and practical implementation, then evaluate mastery.
- Direct daily opening sessions that establish culture, communicate high standards, and prepare students before work begins.
- Develop trusted mentoring relationships with students and their families by maintaining high expectations, consistency, and strong judgment.
- Deliver traditional classroom instruction, lectures, or academic tutoring.
- Build curriculum, develop lesson materials, or evaluate student assignments.
- Supervise staff, oversee campus operations, or assume administrative leadership responsibilities.
- Compromise standards to achieve short‑term compliance or quick outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure students at Alpha’s most rigorous campuses remain highly motivated and demonstrate continuous growth and life‑skill competency through elite, high‑standards coaching.
Basic Requirements- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in any discipline.
- At least one verifiable elite marker (competitive athletics, academic distinction, professional achievement, or elite‑level coaching).
- Proven experience in direct mentoring, coaching, or leadership roles that demonstrably improved others’ performance.
- Comfort working in high‑accountability settings with defined standards and consistent execution.
- Capability to facilitate engaging, high‑demand group workshops and provide individual coaching with sound judgment.
- Willingness to work full‑time on‑site at an Alpha campus:
San Francisco, CA;
Santa Barbara, CA; or New York City, NY. - Authorization to work legally in the United States.
- Track record using data and analytics to inform coaching strategies and maintain accountability.
- Experience in competitive firms, high‑performance startups, or elite athletic programs with demanding performance standards.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
