To care for and teach young children in a child care environment. Responsible for providing a variety of functions in caring and teaching in a child care learning environment.

Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
Responsibilities- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
- Supervise and care for children in the 3-5 year age range both indoors and outdoors.
- Communicate daily with parents.
- Supervise assistant.
High school graduation or GED. One year of experience working with young children in a licensed child care center.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred QualificationsHands on experience leading 0-5 year olds. Formal training in a child related field. Previous experience working in an accredited center. Previous lead teacher experience teaching pre‑k. Stable work history. Bilingual a plus.
Compensation$50,000
Working Conditions- May work around standard office conditions.

Regular staff who have been employed in their current position for the last six continuous months are eligible for openings being recruited for through University-Wide or Open Recruiting, to include both promotional opportunities and lateral transfers.
