** Purpose
* * To assist the site director in the daily operation of the UT Child Development Center.##
** Responsibilities
* ** Maintain all enrollment and staff records including immunizations.
* Supervise classrooms and staff at the program.
* Give tours, communicate daily with parents and visitors.
* Assist with maintaining requirements of Child Care Licensing and Accreditation standards as well as requirements for health and safety.
* Assist with staffing the program and hiring new employees.
* Other related functions as assigned.##
** Required Qualifications
** Demonstration of the competencies:
Motivating others, Planning work for others, Managing conflict, Managing and measuring work, and Complying with policies and procedures at The University of Texas at Austin, typically acquired by a Bachelor's Degree, one year of experience as a teacher or administrator of a licensed child care facility and the university's Transition to Management Certificate (or equivalent).
* Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.*##
** Preferred Qualifications
** Degree in child related field. Previous experience working as a director or assistant director of a licensed child development center. Previous experience working in an accredited child development center. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Stable work history.##
** Salary Range**$65,000##

** Work Shift
*** Monday
-Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm
* Position may occasionally require work during non-business hours for center events and required professional development. Also, being able to help with opening shift on occasion is a plus (7:00am - 4:00pm)##
