Overview

Required:

Advanced reading certification (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent) OR Master's degree in reading instruction. On-site positions available in Phoenix (Scottsdale), AZ;
Austin, TX;
Fort Worth, TX;
Plano, TX;
Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico. Salary: $100,000 annual ($50/hour), with weekly pay. Benefits: health, dental, and vision benefits begin day one. Relocation assistance provided.

• Conducting focused reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency capabilities
• Creating personalized motivational experiences through gamified literacy achievement markers
• Examining student performance data to improve instruction and identify practical next steps
• Partnering with engineers to assess and refine AI literacy platforms using classroom evidence
• Building scalable, AI-supported materials that help early elementary learners reach grade-level reading proficiency

• Conducting 90-minute lessons or adhering to conventional curricula—students engage with academic content via AI-adaptive applications

• Bachelor's degree
• Master's degree in reading instruction OR advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of experience conducting small-group reading interventions with K–2 students
• Competent in assessing reading levels, grouping students, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-written curricula
• Comfortable with AI/adaptive learning platforms and attentive to student interactions within them
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Prepared to work on-site at one of our campuses:

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
