* Free rides on all UT Shuttle and Capital Metro buses with staff more details, please see: and ## Purpose The K-12 Program Coordinator's role will be to support the mission of the School of Civic Leadership by coordinating and managing events, facilitating teacher and prospective student engagement, and fostering strong relationships with partners. This position ensures seamless execution of K-12 teacher and prospective student events, overseeing logistics, resource management, and communication efforts.##
Responsibilities
* Provide logistical support for SCL and partner events around Texas (travel required).
* Oversee K-12 event logistics, schedule events.
* Oversee the full event lifecycle in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Recruitment & Civic Education, ensuring refreshments are ordered, technology needs are met, and unexpected challenges are addressed promptly.
* Assist and collaborate with faculty involved in programs and events.
* Develop and manage agendas for speakers and attendees, including coordinating travel arrangements, processing stipends and reimbursements, and handling related logistical needs.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the program, responding to inquiries and providing information as needed.
* Direct event set up and break down, ensuring necessary resources are available. Greet teachers and students with a warm welcome. Coordinate with appropriate partners for virtual events to have adequate technology set up. Assist event hosts as necessary.
* Write in-depth summaries of K-12 program events, providing content for School of Civic Leadership forum, and report relevant metrics.
* Maintain event supplies, ensure adequate amount of print materials, signs, and swag. Create and actively maintain program supply inventory list, ordering additional materials as necessary. Purchase materials using various approved vendors by Procard and purchase order in collaboration with Business Affairs purchasing team.
* Manage registration links and RSVPs for virtual and in-person K-12 teacher and prospective student events.
* Attend internal meetings to stay abreast of internal and University purchasing policies.
* Other duties as assigned.##
Required Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in related field with three years of relevant experience.
* Demonstrated experience coordinating events, programs, or projects involving multiple stakeholders.
