On‑site at Next Gen Academy, Austin, TX.

• Create and facilitate small‑group reading sessions for K-2 learners, ensuring phonics instruction is engaging, enjoyable, and tailored to individual needs.
• Modify teaching approaches on the spot in response to student needs, reading proficiency levels, and signs of engagement.
• Conduct motivational sessions with students to support their progress in adaptive literacy software and help them reach learning milestones.
• Track student achievement data from adaptive platforms and apply insights to customize instruction for each group.
• Employ storytelling, humor, game‑based comparisons, and affirmative feedback to sustain student effort and address reluctance.

• Available to work on‑site at Next Gen Academy in Austin, TX.
• Bachelor's degree in elementary education, reading, or a related discipline.
• Certification in structured literacy methods such as Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, or comparable evidence‑based phonics frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience providing small‑group reading instruction to K‑2 students or learners facing reading challenges.
• Proven capacity to evaluate student reading abilities and create differentiated lesson plans autonomously.
• Genuine interest in video games and gaming culture, whether or not you are a gamer.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The contractor will be entered into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. Payment is weekly.
