Experience with, and a love for people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Interest in the outdoors, being active and physically fit and teaching the same lifestyle to our Adventurers. Ability to work with small groups teaching a variety of activities such as, but not limited to crafts including woodcraft, dance, job skills, camping skills, outdoor/ yard games, sport skills, hiking, fitness and nutrition, cooking, continuing education classes such as book club, astronomy, cooking/ baking, Texas history, etc.
Ability to supervise after hours community experiences occasionally, and travel 3-7 days a few times a year on out of town Adventures across Texas and the US.
A teaching background and certifications in CPR/First Aid/AED and/or lifeguard/ water safety would be a plus.
