Early Childhood Teacher

Overview

Kido River Place is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Part-Time Afternoon Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will help create a joyful, engaging, and safe learning environment for children of all ages. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and is looking for a flexible part-time schedule while making a meaningful impact every day.

• Support and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that align with Kido’s curriculum.
• Foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, confidence, and creativity.
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure smooth classroom transitions and consistent communication.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and daily updates as needed.
• Follow school policies and procedures while ensuring adherence to all safety and licensing standards.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

• Previous experience working with young children, ideally in an early childhood program.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 2:00–6:00 p.m.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• A passion for early learning and commitment to Kido’s values of Listen, Learn, Lead.
• Patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach to supporting children’s growth and development.
