* Free rides on all UT Shuttle and Austin Cap Metro buses with staff be eligible to work in the US on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.## Purpose Reporting to the Vice Provost for Academics & Curriculum, the Director of Curriculum and Academic Administration is responsible for directing the Curriculum and Academic Administration Unit and overseeing the administration of academic initiatives, including compliance with university, state, and accreditor requirements, in addition to establishing partnerships, tracking curriculum and program changes, and serving as a liaison between the university and external organizations.
This position is responsible for ensuring adherence to university, state, and federal regulations for academic programming and coordinating efforts to address key academic and administrative issues.## Responsibilities
* Coordinate efforts to address crucial major, curriculum, and program administrative issues. Maintain a thorough knowledge of academic policies and procedures, serve as a resource for academic areas about academic policies and procedures, and interpret, explain, and enforce academic policies related to curriculum implementation and academic program planning. Manage, develop, and support operational procedures and practices related to the internal curricula approval process in collaboration with faculty advisory bodies and other related committees.
* Develop processes to track curriculum, program, and academic unit changes and report significant changes to appropriate external organizations. Facilitate the review and approval process for proposals to create or change academic units.
