Physician Medical Director – Infectious Disease; Outpatient

A large, mission-driven outpatient medical organization is seeking a Physician Medical Director – Infectious Disease to lead and deliver high-quality patient care in a fully staffed clinic environment. This role combines clinical leadership with hands-on outpatient care and offers a predictable schedule with no nights or weekends.

Greater Austin, Texas ( On-site only )

Estimated total compensation: $314,000 – $464,000+ with productivity

Includes sign-on bonus, retention bonus, quarterly bonuses, and bi-weekly productivity incentives

• MD or DO with active medical license
• Valid DEA registration
• Furnishing license
• Minimum 2 years outpatient clinical experience
• AAHIVM certification within 18 months
• Active CPR/BLS certification

• Deliver outpatient care and meet productivity targets
• Diagnose and treat infectious and chronic conditions
• Complete documentation within required timelines
• Supervise PAs and NPs
• Review labs, imaging, and consult reports
• Manage prescriptions and patient communications
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Support retention and clinic performance initiatives
