Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist in Austin, TX

Seeking dedicated and experienced OB Hospitalists to provide exceptional maternal care in a dynamic hospital setting. Required Skills:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Valid medical license to practice in Texas
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in obstetrics/hospitalist settings
  • Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and obstetric emergencies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • ACLS and NRP certification
  • Previous locum tenens or hospitalist experience
  • Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school
  • Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Prior experience working in hospitalist roles or in busy urban hospital settings
Other Requirements:
  • Shifts include 12-hour night shifts Monday through Friday, plus 2-12 hour shifts on weekends (day and night)
  • Must hold or obtain active Texas medical licensure
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to shift schedules
  • Compliance with all hospital policies, safety protocols, and credentialing processes
