Pediatric Anesthesiologist – St. David's Medical Center – Full Time
Join to apply for the Pediatric Anesthesiologist role at North American Partners in Anesthesia.
Responsibilities- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a Physician
- Location:
Austin, TX (St. David’s Medical Center, with services at related facilities as described) - Shifts:
Work an average of 40-50 hours per week
As part of St. David’s Health Care, St. David’s Medical Center provides comprehensive medical care and facilities, including a 426-bed acute care hospital and a 64-bed rehabilitation hospital, with a 24-hour emergency department and various specialty centers.
