Austin, TX – USA. Cardiac Anesthesiologist opening at well-established practice in lively Austin, TX. As part of St. David’s Health Care, St. David’s Medical Center provides comprehensive medical care and is home to the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute. The medical center includes a 426-bed acute care hospital and a 64-bed rehabilitation hospital, 24-hour emergency department, and a Bariatric Surgery Center.

Our practice provides anesthesia services ’s Medical Center, North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center.

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Provide medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient; induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patient’s physiological condition
• Perform clinical interventions as needed

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a Physician

• Salary: $440k+ plus ~$130K productivity and call pay (total ~$570K)
• Premium pay over 40 hours
• Cardiac specialty stipend: $50K
