At Austin Oaks Hospital , we are dedicated to providing exceptional psychiatric care in a supportive and dynamic environment. Located in the vibrant heart of South Austin, Texas, our 80-bed freestanding behavioral health facility is seeking a passionate Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team.
Position OverviewThis part-time or moonlighting role focuses on crisis resolution and patient-centered treatment within our specialized programs, including addiction detox and women’s wellness. If you hold an MD/DO degree and are board certified or eligible in General Psychiatry, we want to hear from you!

- Shifts available:
Weekend rounding, evening call, occasional holidays, or weekday coverage gaps. - Patient population:
Adults and adolescents. - Rounding shifts are 100% in-person (no telehealth).
- Compensation:
Fee-for-service 1099, hourly, or shift-rates available.
