This unique role combines 50% clinical duties in a bustling Level II Trauma Center with 50% leadership responsibilities as the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Director for our Emergency Medicine residency.

As the GME Program Director, you will:
- Lead and shape the future of our Emergency Medicine residency program.
- Establish strategic directions that enhance the program's quality and reputation.
- Integrate residency training with clinical services to create an optimal learning environment.
In this hybrid role, you will:
- Oversee the organization and administration of the residency program.
- Participate in clinical shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Engage in ongoing scholarly activities, including peer-reviewed publications.
- Ensure the program meets the highest standards of education and clinical excellence.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of three years of faculty experience in an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency.
- Current ABEM certification and demonstrated clinical competency.
- Experience in a leadership role (e.g., APD, core faculty, residency committee chair).
- A commitment to scholarly activity and continuous improvement.
This position offers a balanced schedule of:
- 50% clinical duties in a high-volume ED (approximately 80,000 visits/year).
- 50% GME-focused responsibilities to foster the next generation of emergency medicine physicians.
