The RoleAs an Architectural Visualization Specialist, you will collaborate closely with project designers to craft compelling, high-quality 3D visualizations that bring architectural concepts to life. Your work will support both early-stage design exploration and polished presentations for clients and marketing initiatives.
This role is located in Austin, TX to collaborate directly with team. Applicants must live in Austin or planning to relocate to Austin.
What You’ll DoJoin project teams during early design conceptualization, to generate design iterations for project designers
Generate beautiful renderings of projects for clients and Cedar marketing purposes
Collaborate with project teams during early design phases to explore concepts and generate iterative visual studies
Develop visually striking, accurate 3D renderings that communicate design intent clearly and creatively
Produce renderings for client presentations, internal reviews, and Cedar’s marketing and promotional efforts
Translate architectural drawings and design ideas into engaging visual narratives
Refine renderings based on feedback while maintaining artistic and technical excellence
You bring strong 3D modeling skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a refined visual sensibility
You have a keen eye for composition, perspective, lighting, and materiality, and can frame architecture and landscapes through an artist’s lens
You thrive in collaborative environments and value open dialogue throughout the creative process
You communicate clearly, welcome feedback, and contribute thoughtfully to design discussions
You balance creativity with precision, ensuring visual quality aligns with design intent
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an architectural related field3-5 years experience in the architectural field
Software:
Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and real time rendering software (Enscape, D5) , Adobe Creative Suite for post-production, Figma PresentationsKnowledge of construction and detailing, which will facilitate good decision making while generating and fine tuning imagery
