About Us

Workshop No5 is a full-service architecture and interiors firm in Austin, Texas. We work on projects ranging from residential and creative office spaces to mixed‑use/multifamily, retail, and hospitality developments.

The Role

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join us on a part‑time contract basis for 6 months (3 days a week), with the potential to transition into a full‑time position. You will oversee projects across mixed‑use/multifamily, hospitality, commercial/office, and residential sectors. This role is suited for someone ready to take on increased responsibility.

Qualifications
  • Professional degree in architecture
  • 8+ years of experience with a strong interest in materiality and interiors
  • Multifamily/hospitality experience is a must
  • Registered architect preferred
  • Strong design skills—both architecturally and graphically
  • Solid understanding of all project phases (Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Construction Administration) including drawing coordination, materiality, code, and detailing
  • Comfortable with Revit, Adobe products, and Bluebeam; bonus points for Enscape and rendering skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Proactive individual who works well independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
  • Lead design direction and coordinate project teams
  • Manage client expectations and relationships
  • Keep projects on budget and running efficiently
  • Guide teams through all phases of a project
  • Work on residential, commercial, and competition projects
  • Coordinate presentations, modeling, renderings, documentation, and permitting
  • Take initiative, ask the right questions, and keep the team motivated
  • Juggle multiple projects at different stages
  • Assist with quality control across all office projects
