Position: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Senior Project Manager – AIA Austin

Mark Odom Studio, a well‑established, full‑service architecture and interiors firm based in Austin, Texas, specializes in residential, creative office, mixed‑use/multifamily, retail, and hospitality projects.

We have an opening for a full‑time Senior Project Manager. The role involves managing a wide variety of project types—including mixed‑use, multifamily, hospitality, commercial office, and residential—and offers a higher level of responsibility and independence.

Qualifications
  • Professional degree in architecture; 5‑8 years experience with a strong interest in materiality and interiors.
  • Multifamily/hospitality experience required; registered architect preferred.
  • Strong design skills (architectural and graphic).
  • Deep understanding of all project phases (SD, DD, CD, CA) and coordination of drawings, materiality, code, and detailing.
  • Knowledge of Revit, Adobe products, Blue Beam, Enscape/Lumion; graphic/rendering skills are a bonus.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Team‑oriented, positive attitude, thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Holistic design perspective—exteriors, interiors, and landscape.
Responsibilities
  • Lead design intent and coordinate project teams while managing client expectations.
  • Understand and manage project budgets efficiently.
  • Client and team management: coordinate and lead the team through the entire project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate across a variety of project types and scales: residential, commercial, competition.
  • Prepare project presentations, models, renderings, documentation, and permitting materials.
  • Self‑start, ask clarifying questions, motivate team, and keep projects on schedule.
  • Multitask and organize multiple projects in various phases.
  • Assist with quality control for all office projects.
