As a pivotal force in our product-driven company, we collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to unravel customer challenges, shaping workflows, interactions, and visual interfaces.

The Senior Design Systems Designer at Agoda is responsible for helping us scale ADS to become a best-in-class design system, laying scalable foundations, evolving our components, and expanding into new areas to unlock quality and efficiency. You will drive and continuously improve collaboration with cross‑functional partners and other product teams. Your work will impact over 1,000 makers at Agoda and millions of customers worldwide.

You’ll influence our strategy to ensure the system evolves and continues to play a key role in how we build products  will ship well‑crafted, accessible designs that enable stakeholders to ship products with improved efficiency, quality, and delight.

• Expertise:
  Build design systems that balance flexibility, scalability, and ease of use. Design reusable patterns that drive consistency across platforms.
• Advocating for Quality:
  Push for accessibility and clean, modern UI systems. Balance implementation cost and long‑term maintenance while considering technical opportunities.
• Collaborate & Evangelize:
  Work proactively across teams to uncover needs, drive alignment, and generate enthusiasm for design system adoption. Coach mid‑level and junior designers.

• 6+ years of experience in user experience, product, or relevant design field.
• 3+ years in an explicit design systems role.
• User‑centered design approach prioritizing user needs, behaviors, and accessibility.
• Knowledge of design systems, developing and maintaining consistency across large platforms.
• Interaction design experience, creating engaging experiences with animations, transitions, and micro‑interactions.
• Visual design skills with mastery of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Excellent proficiency with Figma, design tokens, WCAG, and related standards.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders in a large organization – designers, engineers, product managers.
• High‑level understanding of frontend development concepts (HTML/CSS/JS).

• Past projects that showcase major systems evolution or expansion (e.g., redesigns, theming, modes, platforms, or a11y/i18n).
• Prior experience designing for consumer‑facing products.
• Strong visual design skills.
• Understanding of technology stacks and their design implications.
