YOU: This isn’t a concept‑only design job. This is for the designer who sketches a rendering, then asks:
How does that actually get built? What’s the load, the material, the finish, the lead time?

We’re looking for a Production Designer who can think like a designer and a builder. Someone who understands sequence, trades, and fabrication. You’ll take a creative direction from executive leadership and clients – sometimes a narrative, sometimes a napkin sketch – and turn it into renderings, shop drawings, and sourced materials that are as economical as they are innovative.

You’ll be in the weeds – modeling, sourcing, reviewing shop drawings, and walking installs. You’ll speak the language of vendors, fabricators, and engineers with ease. You’ll collaborate with producers to turn creative intent into real‑world structure, not just pretty pictures. You’ll do it all with quiet confidence, calm under pressure, and the discipline of someone who’s been on site enough to know where things can go wrong – and how to make them right.

REPORTS TO: Managing Director

TYPE OF POSITION: Full Time, Remote

OUR CORE VALUES:
  • Build Like a Partner: We show up like owners, not order-takers. We collaborate, contribute, and co‑create. We don’t just pass the baton — we run beside each other with shared vision and full commitment.
  • Own The Outcome: Everyone leads from where they stand. We take full responsibility— not just for tasks, but for results. We don’t wait to be told – we build to be proud.
  • Make Moments Matter: We don’t just do work — we create meaning. Every email, interaction, and touchpoint is a chance to leave someone better than we found them.
  • Purposeful Excellence: Excellence isn’t a flex — it’s a form of care. We pursue mastery not for ego, but because people, moments, and missions deserve our best.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design Development: Help drive the design process and turn concepts and creative direction into spatial designs, renderings, and build‑ready drawings that communicate both story and structure.
  • Materiality & Innovation: Source materials that look good, perform better, and meet budget. You know what can be fabricated locally, what ships flat, and what can pull double duty on‑site— even better if you know who can get it done.
  • Visualization: Create high‑fidelity 3D renderings using Rhino, Sketch Up, and Adobe Suite for both client presentations and fabrication coordination.
  • Shop Drawings & Documentation: Translate creative design into dimensioned drawings that fabricators can build from— clean, clear, and technically sound.
  • Collaboration: Work with vendors, producers, and technical directors to problem‑solve design challenges before they reach install day.
  • Install & Oversight: Travel as needed to oversee creative install, manage on‑site adjustments, and maintain design integrity through the final execution.
  • Creative Flexibility: Own 2–3 large projects at a time while jumping in for quick‑turn visuals and proposal renders as needed. Managing their time and deadlines independently.
  • Communication &

    Collaboration:

Present design intent to clients and partners confidently. Explain decisions with logic and warmth. Listen, adjust, and make sure everyone—vendors, producers, and internal teams—share the same vision.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • Degree in Architecture, interior architecture, theatre/set design or other Design‑related education or experience.
  • Fluency in 3D modeling software such as Vectorworks, Auto Cad, Rhino, Sketch Up, and Rendering such as Enscape, Vray, Lumion, Maya, Etc.
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Experience producing shop drawings, fabrication plans,…
